Love.
On this Valentine’s Day, I vow not to be sad because I don’t have someone to shower with affection. I vow not to be bitter when I see couples displaying PDA because I don’t have what they have. Instead I vow to love myself more, and look forward to the day when I can give some of that love to someone else.
I want to share a song I stumbled upon about a year and a half ago by a talented singer named Marquel. In his song, “More Love,” he expresses love and appreciation for a woman who believed in him when his chips were down. He sings about giving everything to the woman who had faith in him before he had anything. I think this song is so beautiful, and I can only hope to meet someone with the same sentiments. Enjoy…
